Visiting Student

Anita Scigliano received the Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from the University of Pisa (Italy). Her thesis research work concerned the analysis of metal complexes formation for a perylene ligand bearing a crown ether residue. During her first year of master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, her research work focused on the use of Perylene bisimide metal complexes as new MWCNTs dispersants and on the role of the metal ion in the stability and temperature sensing of the dispersion. She joined the Swager Group as a master’s degree student and her current research is related to electrochemical and optical sensor based on functional carbon nanotubes.
