Haosheng was born in Wuhan, China and grew up in Singapore. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Natural Sciences. He worked under Dr. Hugo Bronstein during his Master’s year where he synthesised and studied a series of diketopyrrolopyrrole based polymers for structure activity relationships. At the end of 2019, Haosheng joined the Swager Group as a graduate student in inorganic chemistry.
