After receiving his B.S. in 2009, Myles moved to Caltech and received his Ph.D. in the laboratory of Prof. Robert Grubbs investigating ruthenium-based Z-selective olefin metathesis. Myles joined the Swager group for his postdoctoral studies in 2014 where he is currently investigating carbon nanotube-polymer composite materials and commercial applications of liquid colloid particles.
