Position: 

Graduate Student

Zach received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 2015. There he worked with Prof. Stephen Lee modeling atomic packing in intermetallic crystals, and with Prof. Geoffrey Coates developing coordination complex catalysts for epoxide carbonylation. As a graduate student at MIT he has worked with Prof. Jeffrey Van Humbeck studying the effect of internal electric fields on transition metal catalyzed oxidation. He joined the Swager Lab in 2017 as a graduate student in organic chemistry.
