Sergei was born in Ukraine and moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of four. He grew up in Ohio and Israel and eventually studied Chemistry as an undergraduate at Case Western Reserve University. While there, he worked on organometallic chromophores and ultra-high temperature ceramics with Prof. Thomas Gray. He joined the Swager Group in Fall 2024.
