Massado was born in Douala, Cameroon where she spent the first 8 years of her life before moving to Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo, Luanda in Angola, Singapore, and then Metchosin, Canada where she finished high school. She recieved her BS in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in the fall of 2021. There she worked under Dr. Anna C. Samia, studying metal and metal oxide nanoparticles for applications in sensing, imaging, and therapy. She joined the Swager group as a research technician in the spring of 2022.
