Jessica is a northern Illinois native, and she received her BA in Chemistry from Northwestern University in 2017. At Northwestern, she worked under Prof. SonBinh Nguyen on small molecule-DNA hybrids and on the self-assembly behavior of DNA-peptide conjugates. She is a NSF GRFP fellow. In the fall of 2017, Jessica joined the Swager lab as a graduate student in organic chemistry.
