Paulina obtained her MSc in Chemical Technology (2010) and PhD in Chemistry (2016) at the Technical University of Lodz (Poland). She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Medical Research of the University of Leuven (Belgium) in the group of Prof. Piet Herdewyn (2016-2018), and then at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Lodz (Poland) in the group of Prof. Piotr Kaszynski (2018-2021). Since March 2021, she is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Organic and Applied Chemistry of the University of Lodz.
Her scientific interests concern the synthesis of new classes of stable [1,2,4]triazinyl radicals and the study of their electronic and magnetic properties in the context of advanced materials for organic electronics and spintronics.
Paulina joined the group of Prof. Swager in the fall of 2022 as the Kosciuszko Foundation fellow, where she will work on the synthesis of new organic materials for a large Faraday effect.
