Georgios studied chemistry and biochemistry at LMU Munich, Germany and Sorbonne University, Paris, France. Thereafter, he pursued his doctoral studies as a fellow of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes at ETH Zurich, Switzerland focusing on the strategic utilization of electrophiles in catalysis. After receiving his doctoral degree, Georgios joined the Swager group as a postdoctoral fellow sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation.
