Yifan received her B.S. in Chemistry and minor in Economics from University of California, San Diego. As an undergrad, she did research with Professor Charles Perrin on the symmetry of hydrogen bonds in enols. She also did research with Professor Francesco Paesani on alkali metal ion hydration in gas phase cluster during the summer of 2018. She joined the Swager group in 2019, where she will be working on the synthesis of sulfur-rich polymers.
