Following a great tradition of our group, Tim hosted the annual BBQ party this past Saturday. Everyone enjoyed an awesome relaxing moment (the day after subgroup day) with good food, drinks and great company. Thanks Tim!
After a brilliant regular season, the Swagasaurous Rex made it to the playoff final where they played against a team from the Movassaghi lab. After trailing 2 sets to 1, and supported by the other lab members, our team managed to tie the game and finally pick up a narrow victory after an intense fifth set. Congratulations to all: Silvia, Jon W., Alex, Team Captain John G., Jan, Michael, Markrete and Kelvin!
After a two-year stay, Duncan leaves the lab and goes back to the Netherlands, where an other year of postdoctoral work awaits him at the Eindhoven University of Technology. We'll miss a rare example of a physicist brave enough to venture into an organic chemistry lab, and an imaging expert. Farewell Duncan!
The latest CNT-based sensing progress from our lab was published by Kelvin in Analytical Chemistry: Robust Cyclohexanone Selective Chemiresistors Based on Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes. Take a look!
Julia Kalow (PhD, Princeton) joins the lab as the most recent (so far) postdoctoral fellow. Welcome Julia!
The latest paper by Eilaf, entitled "Fluorescent Multiblock π-Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles for In Vivo Tumor Targeting" was just published online in Advanced Materials. Check it out!
