September saw Derek go back to Canada to join the faculty at University of Waterloo (aka the MIT of Canada). Congratulations and good luck Derek!

A number of postdocs recently joined the lab: Bora Yoon (Hanyang University, South Korea), Lauren Zarzar (Harvard), and Tsuyoshi Goya (Kyoto university, Japan).

Finally, Cindy Schmadicke, PhD student from Dresden (Germany) joins our group for a short stay this fall.
