Maryam Alsufyani earned her PhD from the University of Oxford in organic chemistry, under the supervision of Dr. Iain McCulloch, focusing on designing and synthesizing n-type semiconducting polymers for organic thermoelectric and electrochemical transistor applications. In the Swager group, she's interested in synthesizing Flourous dyes and polymers for PFAS detection.
